Scheduled assignments
Due date versus schedule date
The due date records when your work is due. The schedule date tells Ungraded the future day on or after which background processing can begin. Setting a due date alone does not schedule generation. Scheduled processing runs in background windows, so the selected date is not an exact completion time.
Plan availability
Scheduling is available only on plans that include it. Your plan can also limit how many assignments you schedule per day, week, or month. If your plan does not include scheduling, the project settings show that restriction before you save.
What happens next
Scheduled projects are filed automatically in the protected Schedule folder, where they stay when completed. This folder cannot be renamed or deleted. Once the assignment is scheduled, you can review its selected date and additional instructions in project settings. Ungraded emails you when processing begins and again when the completed draft is ready to review. You can cancel a schedule while its status is still scheduled.
Writing preferences still matter
The scheduled draft uses the project's saved writing preferences and additional instructions. Updating a due date or schedule does not start a new writing version, but changing content-related preferences can.
